How BuildSafe Works

1) Request & Receive Detailed Quotation

Homeowner requests and receives a full quotation from us at BuildSafe. This includes scope, timelines, and costs. If approved, the process moves forward.

2) Agree on Milestones

Homeowner & contractor define scope, timeframe, and verified price per milestone. Once agreed, the price is locked for that milestone’s duration.

3) Deposit Funds to Escrow

Deposit only the next milestone amount (or the project total) into a regulated escrow account. Funds are visible and secure-neither party can access them unilaterally.

4) Work in Progress

BuildSafe works while you monitor progress. Each milestone is approved upon completion and customer satisfaction, with funds released securely from escrow.

When the milestone is finished, the contractor requests payment.
You approve if satisfied-funds release instantly. If not, money stays in escrow while we help resolve issues.
Repeat until project completion. Contractors get paid on time; homeowners only pay for work delivered.

Can the price change once a milestone starts?

No. We verify and lock pricing before activation. Any adjustments are discussed and agreed before the next milestone begins.

Can I change contractors?

Yes-only at the start of a milestone. Any change requires new or updated milestones to be agreed and confirmed in BuildSafe before activation. Switching mid-milestone is not supported.

Who holds the money?

Funds are held in a regulated escrow account with local trusted banks and released only upon your approval.

Is there insurance protection?

Yes. Projects include insurance-backed protection (e.g., contractor default/unfinished work), adding an extra layer of security.

How are disputes handled?

We offer a clear resolution process with optional independent inspections. Until resolved, funds remain in escrow.

Do you help with materials?

Yes. We can specify, quote, and procure materials at trade rates with verified invoices and scheduled deliveries.
